The buildings interior design, nothing else, the general atmosphere gives the feeling that the whole place is in decline. The front of house man was friendly and helpful for describing where the bus stop was.

Only one member of staff on duty both days. No restaurant. Overpriced breakfast. Appalling condition of gardens and grounds, landscaping and general facilities. Although a spa and jacuzzi were advertised, the spa centre was closed, as was the restaurant and bar for the 2 days we were there. The location wasn't good- situated in probably the worst part of Limoges. The general atmosphere gives the feeling that the whole place is in decline.

We booked this hotel as it had an onsite restaurant. Nowhere on booking were we advised that the restaurant would be closed on the night we were staying. We then asked the hotel receptionist for a taxi to a restaurant close by rather than the city centre so that the cost of the taxi wouldn't be to high. When we reached the restaurant 5 minutes away we were charged 20 euros as the taxi had come from the city centre. We were travelling back to France after having cleared my recently deceased mothers home and just wanted a quite night in the hotel restaurant. In the circumstances I would expect some form of compensation or apology.

Excellent. Grounds delightful, pity it is near an estate, fortunately cannot be seen. My wife thought brown decor rather depressing. But nice hotel

Quiet with nice a park around the hotel.

The restaurant was closed for dinner. The aircondition in the room did not work. Very little light in the room made it difficult to read. No Wi-Fi in spite of what they say so in their information.

The room was very nice, although extremely modern. Not quite the chateau/castle experience I expected. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious.

The hotel is soul less. There is no atmosphere. The Saturday night we were there only 6 people were dining (including us). The receptionist was the waiter because of staff sickness, but he did a very good job under the circumstances. When we arrived we asked for a room with a bath, only to be told that our deluxe room had a shower and if we wanted a bath as well it would be another 30 euros! Considering the hotel was empty I thought that was pretty poor.

The maitre d'hotel was excellent. That's about it.

I think the hotel is really new and not running properly. Hard to find as not on our satnav. Found the road and still had to ask for directions as it was blocked. Not many staff (no-one in the bar) and even fewer guests. Nice touches like slippers and bathrobes totally negated by missing essentials eg. Shower cap, tissues, etc. Lift only worked going down and card key did not work for security door on the stairs.

Flexible and friendly staff. Nice restaurant with good food and helpful restaurant manager. Airconditioned rooms, especially appreciated when the outside temperature was 36degC
